Is the Right Funnier Than the Left?

Malcolm Farr has kicked off a discussion (see Tims Dunlop and Blair for more) on whether the left is funnier than the right. Over in the US, they’ve been worrying about this for a while now, but Al Franken, Maureen Dowd and Wonkette seem to be keeping their wing up.

To move the debate on, you are hereby invited to post the funniest thing you’ve seen this week, or your favourite joke. Here’s my contribution.

Mine would have to be being told by my commerce teacher that referendums need 60% apprval to pass. 🙂 It was quite hilarious, but i spose thats just my wacked political mind.

I think the example of same-sex partners of alleged terrorists is an example of leftists having a humour problem. They pointed out the unusual, but didn’t try creating any humour themselves about what would be more suitable provisions. The right-wing blogosphere would have had a field day, albeit while being a bit puerile.
