Confession, anyone?

Roy Morgan’s annual survey of attitudes to professions is out today. The big news that people are focusing on is the apparent drop in trust in politicians. I gave my $0.02 on this last year, so am more interested in something that no-one else has mentioned. Apparently more Australians think university lecturers are highly ethical and honest (64%) than hold that view about ministers of religion (52%). Though given that three in four Australians believe in God, while only one in five has a university degree, perhaps greater familiarity will soon breed contempt.
