Cheap talk

We’ve tweaked it a bit recently, so the ANU RSSS economics seminar schedule for the rest of the year appears below. The seminars are held in the Coombs building, and visitors are always welcome.

    Hmmmm, the cricket presentation sounds particularly interesting. Possibly a bit longer than you’re average seminar (if somewhat less time consuming than an observational study of test cricket)?

    Christine, I blame that one on Philip Clarke. BTW, is it our duty as opponents of capital punishment to heckle the PM for attending the match?

    You’d want to be careful about the PMXI Terms of Entry there. I ran across it as I was desperately trying to figure out exactly who was playing (ah the Windies, the super team of my long ago childhood). You’re not allowed to wear or display political or offensive signage or logos, nor engage in ‘offensive’ behaviour. Who knows what that is, these days. On the other hand, it would be really entertaining to hear of academic economist types getting thrown out of the grounds, so I’d say get in there!
